Welcome to Class 101, First steps with M17! What would you like to do?

Talk with M17 - Who are you?

  • A newly licensed amateur radio operator, or a seasoned operator with no digital mode experience -> send to a read-up on digital modes and ask them to revisit here
  • A seasoned operator with existing digital mode experience -> send to “Talk with M17 – What environment do you want to use?”
  • Not a licensed amateur radio operator -> Send them somewhere that discusses what amateur radio is, and why they'd want to use M17

Talk with M17 – What environment do you want to use?

  • I don’t have any special hardware, or I don’t know! –> “Talk with M17 - Droidstar on Android, Windows PC, or Linux PC”)
  • I'd like to use my WPSD Raspberry Pi hotspot with M17 -> go here to the WPSD page
  • I'd like to use my radio loaded with custom firmware builds that can talk M17 -> go here to the OpenRTX page
  • I'd like to use my existing amateur radios with a purchased M17 modem -> go here to the Module17 page
